Fire Ban in effect as of July 16, 2026

The Coastal Fire Centre has indicated there will be an imposed Fire Ban of all Category 1 (Campfires), Category 2 & 3 (Open Fires) effective, Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 12:00 pm (noon). These measures are being taken to reduce the risk of human-caused wildfires associated with open burning activities. This prohibition will remain in place until October 31, 2026, or until it is rescinded.
